It grips the hair and releases the skin, which makes it markedly more comfortable on intimate areas, underarms, upper lip and any skin that is thin or reactive. Strip wax is thinner, applied with a spatula and removed with a fabric strip. It is faster over large areas such as legs, arms and backs, and perfectly comfortable where skin is more robust.
